Chillicothe OH- Family Legacy Continues with NEW E.M. Smith Family Jewelers

Chillicothe OH- E.M. Smith Jewelers, southern Ohio’s largest family owned and operated jewelry business has closed their doors after 72 years of operation. But a new store has emerged from the well know jewelry business.

E.M. Smith Family Jewelers is now open at 62 N. Paint Street in downtown Chillicothe. Taylor Smith, daughter of previous owner Robert Smith, is the new owner of the business which will differ slightly from the old business.
E.M. Smith Family Jewelers will be a smaller, more personal business, and feature professional jewelry repair and custom design services, expert jewelry evaluation and appraisal service, a larger pre-owned jewelry and estate department, along with some of the old favorite brands like Hearts on Fire, LeVian, Chatham, and Kendra Scott.
Taylor Smith says, the new store also plans some extra services not normally available at other stores. “We plan to offer jewelry repair pick up and delivery for those who can’t leave their homes or don’t have time to bring their jewelry in for repair.  We would also like to offer valet parking service for those who can’t find a nearby parking place. We are expanding our website and online purchasing opportunities for those who prefer to shop at home. And we will ship to you or deliver for no extra charge. And online video conferencing will be a normal part of our doing business for those who prefer working with one of her jewelry specialist from the comfort of their own home.
New hours for the business are Monday Tuesday and Wednesday 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday Friday Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday 12 PM to 5 PM. Stop in and see one of downtown Chillicothe’s most beautiful new stores E.M. Smith Family Jewelers at the corner of Paint and Second Street in Chillicothe.
