OHIO – This week House Bill 669 was signed by Governor Dewine adding the measure into law.

In April of 2020 during the COVID-19 shutdowns, and just after stay at home orders a temporary measure to help restaurants with alcohol sales allowed a temporary measure of “To Go Alcohol” with restrictions of a sealed cup and it must stay sealed until you arrive at home. This was done to help boost slumping sales.

Now that measure has become law, and according to the bill it doesnt limit the amount of alcohol sold and it allows third party companies to transport the drinks to your home.

Ohio has become only the second State to allow this.
