CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Get ready for paws, prizes, and plenty of laughs as the 1st Annual Roundtown Wiener Dog Derby races into town on Sunday, June 15th, 2025.
Hosted in true small-town celebration style, this family-friendly event invites dachshund lovers from across the region to register their speedy sausages for a day of fun-filled competition. Registration begins at 12:00 noon, with races to follow.
For just $5 per dog, entrants can compete for a variety of prizes. Spectators are welcome to join the festivities for a $5 gate admission, which also earns them an entry into the event’s exciting TV giveaway.
The derby will also feature a “Wanna Be a Wiener” special heat — a fun twist open to any dog that can fit inside the official box. “If it fits, it races!” say organizers, encouraging a wide range of pint-sized pups to join the action.
