DUBLIN, Ohio — Wendy’s is sizzling up a special deal for bacon lovers this Tuesday, December 30, in celebration of National Bacon Day.
The Dublin, Ohio-based fast-food chain announced it will offer Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers for just one cent for customers who use the Wendy’s mobile app. The deal is available for one day only at participating locations.
“At Wendy’s, bacon isn’t just a topping, it’s a lifestyle,” the company said in a statement. “From the iconic Baconator to the Breakfast Baconator to our bacon-loaded Breakfast Burrito, we literally own bacon.”
The Junior Bacon Cheeseburger features a fresh, never-frozen square beef patty topped with two strips of bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on a toasted bun. Wendy’s describes it simply as “bacon done right.”
To redeem the National Bacon Day offer, customers must have a Wendy’s app account and make an additional purchase. The one-cent Junior Bacon Cheeseburger must be claimed through the app on Tuesday, December 30, and the promotion cannot be redeemed outside that date.
