CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Visitors heading to this year’s Circleville Pumpkin Show can look forward to mostly mild and sunny conditions — with temperatures feeling more like early fall than sweater weather — until a chilly Saturday cools things down.
The extended forecast for Pickaway County shows highs in the low to mid-70s from Sunday through Friday, with mostly sunny skies and light winds. The only day that might see some rain is Thursday, October 16, when forecasters are calling for isolated showers during the day and a chance of rain overnight.
The best days for strolling through the Pumpkin Show in short sleeves look to be Wednesday and Friday, with highs near 70–73 degrees and plenty of sunshine.
However, by Saturday, October 18, Pumpkin show weather will make its presence known. Temperatures are expected to drop sharply, with a high of just 55 degrees, brisk northwest winds, and overnight lows near 39 degrees. Wind chills may dip into the low 30s by evening.
So, if you plan to take in the parades, pumpkin donuts, and displays, pack accordingly — T-shirts early in the week, sweaters by the weekend.
