Washington Township, OH – A three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bell Station Road and State Route 188 in Pickaway County left two drivers with possible injuries and caused disabling damage to multiple vehicles on October 20, 2025, at approximately 6:22 a.m., according to a Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office report.

The crash occurred in dark, unlit roadway conditions under clear weather on a wet, asphalt road. Stephanie Ann Cline, 45, of Ashville, was driving a black 2021 Jeep eastbound through the intersection when a silver 2018 Hyundai, driven by Joshua L. McQuiniff, 46, of Frankfort, traveling northbound, collided with her vehicle. The impact caused both vehicles to separate, and McQuiniff’s Hyundai then struck a white 2024 Ford F-150, driven by Theodore Z. Taylor Jr., 44, of Stoutsville, who was stopped at a stop sign facing westbound.

Both Cline and McQuiniff were attended by SaltCreek Township Fire/EMS and transported to Berger Hospital for possible injuries. Taylor reported no apparent injuries. All drivers were wearing shoulder and lap belts, and airbags deployed in both the Jeep and Hyundai. No alcohol or drugs were suspected, and all drivers were reported to be in normal condition, though McQuiniff was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way at a through highway.

The collision caused disabling damage to the Jeep and Hyundai, with minor damage to the Ford. All three vehicles were towed by Scioto Valley Towing. The intersection, a two-way road with stop signs, was cleared by 7:39 a.m. after deputies, led by Officer Michael Oberley, arrived at 6:31 a.m. to investigate.

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office continues to review the incident, with no further citations reported at this time.
