CIRCLEVILLE, OH — A high-speed crash on U.S. Route 23 northbound near Radcliffe Road claimed the life of one person late Thursday night, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
Pickaway County Sheriff Deputies arrived on scene and located a 2014 gray GMC Arcadia in the northbound lane of US Route 23 south. During the Deputies investigation they learned that the GMC Arcadia was traveling southbound on US Route 23 just south of Radcliffe Road. The vehicle went off the west side of the roadway. The GMC Arcadia over corrected and went into the median, where it rolled and landed back on its wheels in the northbound lane of travel. The driver was ejected.
The driver of the GMC, 23-year-old James G. Roush IV was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pickaway Township EMS. THe report says that James was not wearing a seat belt.
