GROVE CITY — Two suspects are dead after crashing a vehicle while fleeing from police during a felony theft incident on Saturday evening.
According to Grove City Police, the events unfolded on August 30, 2025, around 6:45 p.m. after multiple thefts were reported in the Parkway Center area. Officers said the suspects rammed a police cruiser while attempting to escape.
Witnesses later reported seeing the suspect vehicle speeding down White Road and Hoover Road, traveling on the wrong side of the roadway and putting other drivers at risk. Officers began to close in but had not yet attempted any pursuit intervention when the suspect’s vehicle crashed near Greenlawn Avenue.
Both suspects suffered fatal injuries in the wreck. Their identities have not been released.
Police said no innocent civilians were hurt, and no officers were injured in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
