BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company, the nation’s largest rural lifestyle retailer, has announced the creation of National Hometown Heroes Day, a new annual celebration recognizing America’s military service members, veterans, and first responders. The inaugural observance will take place Saturday, November 1, 2025, during the company’s two-week Hometown Heroes Days event running from October 28 to November 11.
To mark the occasion, Tractor Supply stores nationwide will each donate $500 to local fire, police, or veteran organizations — totaling more than $1 million in community donations across 2,300 locations.

With National Hometown Heroes Day, we’re taking that recognition further by uniting communities across the country to celebrate their service and sacrifice.”
Nationwide Celebration Planned
On November 1, Tractor Supply stores will host in-store events designed to bring communities together and recognize local heroes. Activities will include:
- Touch-a-Truck events with local fire, police, and rescue departments
- “Thank a Hero” letter-writing stations
- A digital Honor Wall to recognize service members and first responders
- Kids’ craft activities, giveaways, and doorbuster discounts
Participating Hometown Heroes — verified military personnel, veterans, and first responders — will also receive a 10% discount on key recognition days: October 28 (National First Responders Day), November 1 (National Hometown Heroes Day), and November 11 (Veterans Day).
Stores may also host additional local activities, such as safety classes with first responders, cook-offs, “Shop with a Hero” events, and live music.
Ongoing Support for Heroes
Tractor Supply’s Hometown Heroes program, part of its Neighbor’s Club rewards program, provides ongoing savings and benefits to those who serve. Verified Hometown Heroes receive:
- Automatic top-tier Preferred Plus Neighbor status, earning 2% back on every purchase and free shipping on orders over $29
- Quarterly reward credits toward free delivery or trailer rental
- A 5% off coupon each quarter
- Extra discounts on Hero Holidays including July 4th, First Responders Day, National Hometown Heroes Day, and Veterans Day

Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply also partner with national nonprofits serving the military and first responder communities.
