CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A new extended-stay hotel is officially on the way to Circleville.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott has broken ground at the corner of South Court Street and Circle Lane, bringing a new lodging option designed for long-term travelers and business guests. An official opening date has not yet been announced.

Launched in 1997, TownePlace Suites is an all-suite brand focused on comfort and functionality for extended stays. The hotel will offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, each featuring separate living, working and sleeping areas.

Every suite will include a fully equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher — a key feature aimed at guests staying for multiple nights or longer. Rooms will also feature Elfa® closet systems from The Container Store® to provide additional organization space.

The brand’s “Something Borrowed®” program allows guests to borrow everyday items they may have left at home, such as kitchen gadgets, games and other essentials.

In addition to in-room amenities, the hotel is expected to offer a range of complimentary services, including:

  • A daily hot breakfast buffet with customizable options
  • Outdoor patio areas with Weber® grills
  • A pool and 24/7 fitness center
  • Free high-speed Wi-Fi, with enhanced access for Marriott Bonvoy members
  • On-site laundry facilities
  • An “In a Pinch®” market for snacks and necessities

City officials have said the addition strengthens Circleville’s growing hospitality corridor and provides more options for visitors, contractors and families needing longer-term accommodations.

Construction is currently underway. Further details, including an anticipated completion timeline, are expected as the project progresses.
