Threats, Trespassing and Crash Among Incidents in Chillicothe Police Daily Report

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Officers with the Chillicothe Police Department responded to a variety of incidents across the city on March 12, including a warrant arrest, disorderly conduct complaints, and a crash investigation, according to the department’s daily media report.

The day began early when officers conducted a traffic stop around 1:57 a.m. on Mead Drive that led to a warrant-related investigation.

Around 3:04 a.m., officers were dispatched to a juvenile complaint at a residence along Scioto Avenue involving an unruly juvenile.

Later in the morning, police began a follow-up investigation into a juvenile-related case originally reported last year on Sugar Street. Officers worked the case from the department along North Paint Street.

At approximately 9:14 a.m., officers responded to a medical call on Orange Street.

Police were also called to a possible assault around 9:49 a.m. at a location on East 2nd Street. The call involved reports of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, and the investigation remains pending.

Around 11:54 a.m., officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Monroe Avenue, where criminal mischief was reported.

Police later responded to a crash around 1:10 p.m. at the Carver Community Center on West 4th Street. Authorities said the crash remains under investigation.

Additional calls included a disorderly conduct and trespassing complaint at a residence on Pawnee Road at approximately 1:58 p.m.

In the afternoon, officers responded to the area of East 5th Street after reports that a juvenile male had allegedly made threats. The case is being investigated as aggravated menacing.

Later in the day, officers handled a crash on North Bridge Street around 4:46 p.m. A citation was issued for an improper turn and failure to signal.

Investigations into several of the incidents remain ongoing, according to the Chillicothe Police Department.
