Criminal Investigations and Thefts
The most significant property crime of the day occurred in the early evening.
- Stolen Vehicle: At approximately 5:03 PM, officers responded to Cottage Hill Lane following a report of a stolen vehicle. A formal report was taken, and an investigation is underway.
- Burglary: Just before 8:00 AM, a burglary was reported on State Route 159. Due to the location, the call was referred to the appropriate outside agency for investigation.
- Protection Order Violation: Officers were dispatched to Wilson Avenue at 8:38 AM regarding a violation of a protection order. A report was filed, and the case remains open.
Property Damage and Public Safety
Multiple reports of property damage were scattered throughout the day, suggesting a busy Monday for local insurance claims.
- Property Damage: Reports were taken for incidents on South Court Street (5:55 AM), Renick Avenue (11:10 AM), and North Court Street (1:56 PM).
- Well-Being Check: Officers responded to a well-being check on North Court Street at 10:15 AM, where a formal report was generated to document the welfare of the individual involved.

- Extra Patrols: Officers conducted nearly a dozen proactive checks on East Main Street, Clark Drive, and Northview Court between midnight and 4:00 AM.
- Alarms and Checks: Police investigated an alarm drop on East Main Street at 2:11 AM and suspicious circumstances on Watt Street later that evening, though both were cleared without incident.
- Traffic Enforcement: A traffic stop on Lancaster Pike at 8:16 PM resulted in a warning being issued.

- Domestic Trouble: Officers responded to York Street at 7:52 PM for a domestic dispute. The situation was de-escalated, and the call was cleared without a formal report.
