South Bloomfield to Host Town Hall Meeting on October 29 to Discuss Development and Community Issues

SOUTH BLOOMFIELD, Ohio — Residents of South Bloomfield and northern Pickaway County are invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Council Room. The meeting, hosted by Mayor Aaron Thomas, will focus on development updates, community planning, and other key issues affecting the village.

The agenda includes:

  1. Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Opening Statement by Mayor Aaron Thomas
  3. Development Overview presented by Village Administrator Joe Allen, covering:
    • Current state of development in the village
    • Available properties and potential building opportunities
    • Utility capacity and future upgrades
    • Thoroughfare planning and parallel access streets
    • Growth projections and incorporated areas
    • CEDA Land Use Plan
    • Traffic concerns on US 23, including signal timing and speed reduction efforts

Mayor Thomas emphasized that the meeting will provide an open, respectful space for residents to ask questions and share ideas. “No questions are off the table,” Thomas said. “Since this isn’t a formal council meeting, we can have open, honest discussions about development, data center conversations, public safety, and village finances. If we can’t answer a question immediately, we will follow up directly.”
