CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Sheetz is set to officially open its first-ever Chillicothe location on Tuesday, February 17, marking the company’s expansion into a new market in southern Ohio.
The new store, located at 1525 N. Bridge Street, will open to the public at 8 a.m., with a grand opening celebration beginning at 9 a.m. outside the store. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:45 a.m.
Company officials say hundreds of local residents, nonprofit representatives, and elected leaders are expected to attend the event. To celebrate, Sheetz will offer giveaways throughout the morning, including $250 in Sheetz gift cards and a “Free Sheetz for a Year” prize. Customers can also enjoy free self-serve coffee and soda throughout the entire grand opening day.
Supporting the Community
As part of its mission to care for the communities it serves, Sheetz will present two $2,500 donations during the event. One donation will benefit the Good Samaritan Food Pantry of Ross County, which provides food and emergency assistance to residents in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate, and those who do will receive Sheetz promotional items while supplies last between 9 and 11 a.m.
A second $2,500 donation will be presented to Special Olympics Ohio. Sheetz has supported Special Olympics programs for more than 30 years through volunteer efforts, product donations, and financial contributions.
New Jobs and Amenities
The Chillicothe location will employ approximately 30 people. Sheetz, which operates more than 800 stores across seven states, is known for its 24/7 operations and combination of restaurant-quality food, convenience offerings, drive-thru service, indoor and outdoor seating, grocery items, free Wi-Fi, and touch-free restrooms.
The company has earned national recognition for both its workplace culture and community engagement, including multiple appearances on Fortune’s Best Workplaces lists and recognition from USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
With its arrival on North Bridge Street, Sheetz is expected to bring new dining options, job opportunities, and community partnerships to Chillicothe residents.
