CIRCLEVILLE – Ohio native and social media star Ross Smith has once again turned heads at the 2025 Circleville Pumpkin Show — this time by transforming the festival’s largest pumpkin into what may be the world’s biggest pumpkin spice latte.

The massive 1,972-pound pumpkin, grown and exhibited by the Helberg family, was sold to Smith after the show concluded. In an interview with Scioto Post, the Helbergs said Smith wanted to create a fun fall-themed project for his YouTube and Facebook fans. This isn’t the first time that Smith has purchased a Pumpkin from the Circleville Pumpkin Show growers.

Smith, known for his comedic videos featuring his grandmother, “Granny,” documented the process of turning the pumpkin into a latte. The pair carved open the giant gourd and poured in 200 gallons of water, six canisters of coffee, three gallons of pumpkin creamer, and ten pounds of sugar. After giving the concoction a hearty stir with an oversized spoon, they topped it with ten bottles of whipped cream.

In true Ross Smith fashion, the video took a humorous turn when several “basic white girls” — dressed in cozy fall outfits and carrying coffee cups — emerged from the woods to sample the oversized seasonal drink.

Smith and Granny are well-known for their lighthearted and creative skits, which have earned them millions of followers across social media platforms. Their antics often blend family humor with over-the-top concepts, and this latest pumpkin latte project was no exception.

No worries, thoug,h the Helbergs said they would get to harvest the seeds before the sillyness began so expect to see a family member of this pumpkin growing across the country.

As for the fate of the record-breaking pumpkin? After its latte makeover, it’s safe to say it won’t be returning to the patch — but it will certainly live on in viral video fame.
