
ODOTโs safety upgrade project along Bridge Street began April 7 and will enhance interchanges, intersections, lighting, traffic signals, and pedestrian facilities near North Plaza Blvd and Chillicothe Mall.

New Impacts Starting May 7:
- Two lanes will remain open in both directions between North Plaza Blvd and Chillicothe Mall entrance.
- All turn lanes at intersections will remain accessible.
Continuing Impacts:
- Since April 23:
- Left turns from Bridge Street onto River Trace Lane and Consumer Center Drive are permitted.
- Access from Consumer Center Drive to River Trace Lane is restricted.
- Since April 14:
- At least one lane is maintained in each direction on Bridge Street.
- Left turns to River Trace Lane and Consumer Center Drive remain permitted.
๐ ๏ธ State Route 207 Bridge Replacement
Construction is underway on a bridge replacement along S.R. 207 between Rinkliff Lane and Stone Road as of April 1.
Continuing Impacts:
- S.R. 207 is fully closed for the duration of the project.
- Detour: Use S.R. 138 โ U.S. 35 โ S.R. 104.
- Estimated completion: Spring 2025.
๐ง U.S. Route 23 Resurfacing
Resurfacing work began March 1 on U.S. 23 between S.R. 207 and U.S. 35.
Continuing Impacts:
- Northbound U.S. 23 traffic to U.S. 35 westbound must use the far left lane and crossovers.
- Northbound U.S. 23 traffic must stay in the far right lane to remain on U.S. 23.
- Access to U.S. 23 NB is allowed from East Main Street.
- Access to U.S. 35 WB from East Main Street is restricted.
- Detour: E. Main Street โ N. Bridge Street โ U.S. 35 WB.
- At least one lane of traffic will remain open between S.R. 207 and the Chillicothe Bypass.
- Estimated completion: Fall 2025.
