Circleville, Ohio – The bustling city of Circleville will soon welcome Ohio’s first RaceTrac gas station. The Atlanta-based convenience store chain is soon to be opening a semi location in Circleville
A location for the new RaceTrac has been identified at East Circle Lane and Goodchild Service Road, adjacent to the Arby’s restaurant in Circleville.

Circleville and Pickaway County have emerged as a prime location for businesses seeking to enter the Ohio market. In recent years, the area has seen a surge in new businesses, including Del Taco, Sheetz, and Huey Magoo’s.

RaceTrac, a family-owned company founded in 1934, operates over 550 convenience stores across multiple states. Known for its affordable prices, wide selection of food and beverages, and friendly service, RaceTrac has a strong reputation in the convenience store industry.

Plans received by Circleville show that the business will boast a over 6000 square foot convenience store building, four semi pull-through diesel lanes, along with gas pumps for travellers and locals.
The company’s expansion into Ohio aligns with its mission of making people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable. RaceTrac stores offer a one-stop shop experience, featuring everything from freshly brewed coffee to frozen desserts. Other Racetrac locations also offer pizza, but in October, Racetrac purchased the sandwich franchise Potbelly, even though the location has said they may not make the integration we say, why not?

When RaceTrac chooses to open a location in Circleville, it would mark a significant milestone for the city and the state. The company’s presence could bring new jobs, boost local economic development, and provide residents with a convenient and affordable option for their daily needs. The company has been named a top workplace across four of the states in which it operates and has been recognized on Forbes’ list of largest private companies in the U.S. since 1998.
