CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The nation is still a few months away from its 250th birthday, but the “Greatest Free Show on Earth” is already getting the party started. Circleville Pumpkin Show Inc. has officially released a line of commemorative America 250 merchandise, bridging the gap between national pride and Pickaway County tradition.
The project is the brainchild of Pumpkin Show President Marc Rogols and longtime souvenir trustee Susan Radcliff, who wanted to ensure the community was geared up well before the summer holidays.

Wear It Before the Fireworks
“We wanted to have some of this merchandise in people’s hands before Memorial Day and Fourth of July celebrations,” Rogols explained. “It’s a way to build excitement and give people something they can wear and share as we lead up to this historic year.”
The initial release features themed shirts and collectible pins. The response has been overwhelming; after a massive first week of sales, the organization has confirmed that a restock is already in the works to keep up with demand.
Where to Buy
Due to limited supplies, these items are currently available for in-person purchase only at the following local hubs:
- Pickaway County Welcome Center
- Circleville Apothecary
- Ashville Apothecary
Looking Ahead to 2026
While the merchandise is the first step, it certainly won’t be the last. The Pumpkin Show board teased that more announcements regarding the America 250 celebration are expected later this summer.
The 2026 Circleville Pumpkin Show—which will serve as a massive local capstone to the nation’s semi-quincentennial year—is scheduled for October 21 through October 24, 2026.
