CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A new healthy dining option is set to open in Circleville this summer as Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar prepares to move into 1533 South Court Street, the former Cricket Wireless location.

Renovations are currently underway at the site. According to the construction company overseeing the project, the location has already passed several inspections and is progressing steadily toward completion. An official opening date has not yet been announced, but the store is expected to open later this summer.

Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar was founded in 2005 by Thom Knepp in Kent, Ohio. Knepp, who had long wanted to open his own business, said the idea came after trying his first smoothie and seeing its potential as a quick, healthy meal option. Unable to find an existing franchise concept that met all of his expectations, Knepp developed his own — and Pulp was born.

The brand focuses on fresh ingredients, made-to-order smoothies, bowls and juices designed to balance flavor and nutrition. Stores are known for their bright interiors, clean atmosphere and the scent of fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Menu Highlights

Pulp’s menu features a wide range of smoothies, wraps, bowls and wellness shots, with most full meal options typically ranging between $10 and $20.

Popular categories include:

  • Classic Smoothies: Strawberry Banana, Peach Beach and Three Berry
  • High Energy Blends: Mango Bomb and Pulp Fusion, which includes Red Bull
  • Premium Blends: Pink Dragon, Ultimate Acai and Smooth Avocado
  • Bowls: Original Acai Bowl and PB & G Bowl
  • Health Wraps: Chicken Caesar, Turkey Avocado and Veggie options
  • Wellness Shots: Wheatgrass and Ginger shots

Each smoothie order includes one free enhancer, such as protein, energy or fiber blends, allowing customers to customize their drink.

Special Promotions and Partnerships

Earlier this year, Pulp launched “The Land Blend,” a limited-time City Edition smoothie created in partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The smoothie features orange sherbet, passionfruit-mango juice, strawberries, blue spirulina, bananas and yogurt. Customers who purchased the specialty drink could earn double loyalty points toward Cavaliers tickets and merchandise during the promotional period.

The company also offers a loyalty rewards program, allowing customers to earn points on purchases that can be redeemed for discounts.

With construction moving forward on South Court Street, Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar will soon join the growing list of new businesses investing in Circleville’s commercial corridor.

More details, including a grand opening date, are expected in the coming months.
