Pickaway County Common Pleas Court Dispositions: November 5, 2025

Circleville, OH – Judge Matthew H. Chafin presided over a series of criminal cases in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, resulting in pleas, sentences, and probation adjustments for multiple defendants. The docket included drug-related offenses, theft, vehicular assault, failure to comply with police, felonious assault, and a violation of probation.

Roxanne Ruby Arnold, 43, currently held at Pickaway County Jail in Circleville, appeared in Case #2023CR0084 on a charge of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (F-3). She entered a guilty plea, after which the court ordered a presentence investigation (PSI). Arnold is set to return to Franklin County to participate in the CATCH program.

Robert D. Wamsley, 55, also incarcerated at Pickaway County Jail in Circleville, faced charges in Case #2024CR0176: Aggravated Possession of Drugs (F-5) and Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound (F-4). He was sentenced to three years of community control, with conditions including no drug or alcohol use, completion of any treatment or programs mandated by Adult Probation, payment of court costs, and maintenance of employment.

Larry Dwayne Hamilton, 64, of Grove City, Ohio, was sentenced in Case #2024CR0144 for Theft (F-5). Following his guilty plea, he received nine months in prison, to run consecutively with his current sentence at Madison Correctional Institution. Hamilton received credit for any jail time served, waived the PSI, and was ordered to pay $2,466.72 in restitution to Loves Truck Stop.

Thomas E. Griffith, 54, of Darbyville, Ohio, had his sentence vacated in Case #2024CR0150 on a Vehicular Assault (F-4) charge. The case was continued with three years of community control.

Eddie D. Noble, 44, of Columbus, Ohio, pleaded guilty in Case #2025CR0014 to an amended charge of Failure to Comply with Order or Signal of a Police Officer (reduced to F-4), along with Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs (M-1). He was sentenced to 18 months in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC), consecutive to his current sentence, and ordered to pay court costs.

Gerardo Hernandez Carrea, 30, currently at CRC, was sentenced in Case #2025CR0098 for Felonious Assault (F-2) to five to seven and a half years in ODRC, consecutive to his existing sentence, plus payment of court costs.

Jeremy D. Harding, 28, admitted to a violation of probation (VOP) in Case #2025CR0017. Original charges included two counts of Possession of Drugs (F-4), and two counts of Endangering Children (M-1). The court continued Intervention in Lieu of Conviction (ILC), requiring successful completion of Drug Court, all programs prescribed by probation, and any recommendations from the treatment team and providers.

All proceedings took place under Judge Chafin’s oversight, with dispositions emphasizing a mix of incarceration, community control, treatment programs, and financial obligations.
