
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A possible fatal crash shut down Walnut Creek Pike Friday morning after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Kevy Lane.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m., prompting authorities to close the roadway as emergency crews responded to the scene. The closure remained in effect for several hours while first responders worked and investigators began gathering information.
A medical helicopter was initially called to assist but was later declined. The victim was transported by ambulance to Grant Medical Center in Columbus in serious condition.
Officials have not released the identity of the pedestrian, and the extent of injuries to anyone inside the vehicle involved remains unknown at this time.
