CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Dreams became reality Wednesday night as Olivia Gonzalez, a junior at Circleville High School, was crowned the 2025 Miss Pumpkin Show Queen during one of Circleville’s most cherished annual traditions.

Gonzalez was joined on the royal court by 1st Attendant Eliana King and 2nd Attendant Molly Miller, rounding out a trio of young women who represent the pride and spirit of the Circleville community.

A lifelong resident, Gonzalez had long dreamed of wearing the coveted Pumpkin Show crown — not just for the title, but for what it represents. “Being Miss Pumpkin Show is such an honor. This isn’t just about a crown — it’s about giving back to a community that has given me so much,” she said following her coronation at Pumpkin Show Park.

For Olivia, the Pumpkin Show is more than pumpkins and parades. “It’s the story of our town,” she said. “It brings families, small businesses, and the whole community together to celebrate what makes Circleville special. From the giant pumpkins to the food and fun — there’s nothing like it.”

During her campaign, Gonzalez emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself, offering advice to younger girls who may dream of one day holding the crown: “Stay kind, stay grounded, and never stop chasing your dreams. Confidence comes from knowing who you are and where you come from.”

Known for her dedication to academics, extracurriculars, and volunteer work, Gonzalez also highlighted the value of balance and commitment. “Whether it’s school, service, or Pumpkin Show traditions, I’ve learned how to stay focused while giving my best to others,” she said.

Her favorite part of the celebration? The parades. “They show off our school pride, our history, and the energy of Circleville,” she said. “They’re the heart of the Pumpkin Show.”

Growing up attending the Show, Gonzalez says the event helped shape her identity and values. “It taught me what community really means — celebrating together, supporting one another, and honoring the traditions that make our town unique.”

Now, as Miss Pumpkin Show 2025, Queen Olivia Gonzalez will spend the coming year representing Circleville at events and festivals throughout the region — and continuing to inspire others with the same pride, warmth, and community spirit that helped her earn the crown.
