CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ohio University Chillicothe will host its annual Alumni and Friends Art Exhibition beginning with an opening reception at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Patricia Scott Memorial Art Gallery.

The exhibition will feature artwork created by Ohio University Chillicothe alumni, friends of the university, as well as current students, faculty, and staff. Those interested in submitting artwork may drop off their pieces in the Dean’s Suite at Bennett Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Feb. 2 through Feb. 26.

“Art is a vital form of communication and expression, and we are excited to showcase the talent and creativity within the Ohio University Chillicothe community,” said Mike Lafreniere, interim dean of campus and community relations.

The exhibit aims to bring together diverse artistic voices while encouraging dialogue and a deeper appreciation for creative expression within the community.

The exhibition will be on display through Thursday, April 9, 2026. The Patricia Scott Memorial Art Gallery is located on the first floor of Bennett Hall and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
