LOGAN, Ohio (Sept. 2, 2025) – The Mid-State League (MSL) has announced that Logan High School will be the newest member of its Buckeye Division, marking a major shift in the school’s athletic future.
Logan, currently competing in the Ohio Capital Conference, will transition into the MSL in the coming seasons. Final details and timing of the move are still being worked out.
Once the transition is complete, Logan will join Amanda-Clearcreek, Bloom-Carroll, Circleville, Fairfield Union, Hamilton Township, Liberty Union, and Logan Elm in the Buckeye Division.
“The Mid-State League is excited to welcome Logan into our conference,” league officials said in a statement. “They have a rich tradition of athletics that will not only add value to our league as a whole but also strengthen the Buckeye Division.”
Conversations with Logan administrators and athletic leaders have emphasized a shared commitment to fostering competition, building relationships, and creating opportunities for student-athletes to thrive.
Founded on sportsmanship and tradition, the MSL currently consists of 16 central Ohio schools competing in two divisions — the Buckeye and the Cardinal. League leaders said Logan’s addition continues their mission of uniting communities through athletics while promoting excellence on and off the field.
