CIRCLEVILLE – A sweet hometown favorite is making its return to one of the region’s most anticipated fall events. “Caked by Chelsie,” a Circleville-based cake, cookie, and cupcake business, will once again be featured at Jack Pine’s One Wicked Night charity preview on Thursday, Sept. 18. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Laurelville food pantry.

The bakery, owned and operated by Chelsie J. Burris, earned rave reviews at last year’s event and was invited back by popular demand. What started as Burris baking cakes and cookies for friends and family has since grown into a thriving business, with customers traveling from as far as Logan and Rio Grande to enjoy her creations.

From birthdays and weddings to retirements and holiday celebrations, “Caked by Chelsie” has become known for imaginative designs, bold flavors, and treats that double as edible art. Her social media pages are filled with praise from loyal customers who marvel at both the taste and presentation of her confections.

As demand has grown, Burris is exploring new opportunities, including pop-up locations and local delivery services to businesses looking to offer employees and customers a sweet pick-me-up. She remains committed to keeping her efforts rooted in Pickaway County, where her bakery’s success first took shape.

While the VIP preview night at One Wicked Night has already sold out, fans of Burris’s work can still place custom orders directly through her Facebook or Instagram pages. From farm-themed cakes to movie-inspired cupcakes and beyond, her creations remain a staple at special events throughout the area.
