[Lancaster, Ohio] –The Rotary Club of Lancaster-Sherman recently donated a generous gift of $10,000 to The Rotary Club of Lancaster toward their 2026 initiative of constructing an all-accessible playground in Miller Park.
The playground, which will occupy the current Miller Park, costs $1 million. The $10,000 donation nearly fulfills the total amount, with the project commencing mid-2026.
“This project is the combined vision and dedication of Rotary leadership along with community leaders and proponents that want to see a positive change for local youth,” said Rotary Co-Presidents Christa Moody and Devon Naim. “We’re excited to see this evolve and become a well-loved and much improved area for children and families.”
Donations for the project are being sought as it nears goal completion. Interested donors can contribute through the Fairfield County Foundation, www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org, by searching for the Rotary Club of Lancaster Playground Fund.
