LANCASTER, OH – The 175th Fairfield County Fair kicks off Sunday, October 5, running through Saturday, October 11 at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, the fair offers activities and entertainment for all ages, continuing a beloved tradition that has drawn generations of visitors.

“The goal of the Fairfield County Fair has always been to provide a fun, family-oriented event for everyone,” said organizers. “With more than 170 years of history, our fairgrounds have been a gathering place where families and friends can share ideas, demonstrate skills, and make lasting memories.”

Visitors can enjoy a variety of events throughout the week, including the Junior Fair Panorama and Queen Contest, Donkey Dash, Mule Races, Veterans Recognition, Blue Ribbon Auction, NTPA Tractor and Truck Pull, Draft Pony Pull, Horse Pull, Wiener Dog Races, Harness Racing, Combine Derby, Auto Demolition Derby, and special concerts, capped off with a spectacular 175th Anniversary Fireworks display.

The fairgrounds also serve as a year-round hub for events such as livestock shows, antique fairs, business meetings, and family gatherings. Facilities offer winter storage for campers, boats, concession trailers, and vehicles, making the site a central part of the community beyond the annual fair.
