WILLIAMSPORT, OH – May 14, 2025 — One of Ohio’s most anticipated small-town celebrations, the Deercreek Dam Days Festival, is set to return to Williamsport from Wednesday, May 28 through Saturday, May 31, 2025, delivering four days of free, family-friendly entertainment, contests, food, and fireworks.
Celebrating community spirit since 1971, this year’s festival promises something for everyone—from tractor pulls to live music and the always-popular Hot Dog Eating Contest.
🎤 Music, Entertainment, and Fireworks
The festival’s main stage, sponsored by OhioHealth, will be rocking each night with a full lineup of live performances. Highlights include:
- Dan Orr – Thursday, May 29 at 7:30 PM
- Don Sutherland Experience – Friday, May 30 at 4:00 PM
- Matt VanFossen, Lee Gant, and Julia Neville – Saturday, May 31, beginning at 5:30 PM
The music peaks with fireworks on Friday night at 10:00 PM, viewable from the park. (Rain date: Saturday night.)
🏆 Royalty and Contests
The Festival Royalty Pageant kicks off the excitement with preliminary judging on May 27 and the final contest on May 28. Visiting queens from across the region will join the festival on Saturday for the annual parade and main stage appearances.
Saturday (May 31st) also features the Patriotic Baby Contest, where tiny contestants show their red, white, and blue spirit at the main stage starting at 10:00 AM.
🧒 KidsFest & Activities
Kids rule the day on Saturday, May 31 from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM, during the KidsFest. With activities like a bounce house, balloon twister, water table, face painting, and appearances by OSU legends Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones, there’s no shortage of excitement.
Little ones can also test their pedal power during the Kids Buckeye State Pedal Tractor Pull, beginning at 11:30 AM in front of the gym.
🌭 Food & Family Fun
The beloved Hot Dog Eating Contest returns on Friday, May 30 at 5:00 PM, while local food trucks and vendors will be serving up classic festival eats all week.
The Fish Fry in the shelter house, held daily, benefits the Deercreek Dam Days Festival and Heber Lodge.
🍻 Beer Garden & BINGO
The Beer Garden will be open each night starting Thursday, offering cold drinks and a place to unwind. BINGO fans aged 16+ can join in the fun on Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Big Tent.
