
WILLIAMSPORT, OH — The Deercreek Dam Days Festival, one of Ohio’s most beloved small-town celebrations, will return to Williamsport from Wednesday, May 28, to Saturday, May 31, 2025, with exciting updates for its 54th year. Announced on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 8:57 AM EDT, the festival has switched ride providers to EGO Amusements, promising bigger and better rides and games. This year, attendees can also enjoy all-day ride access with new armbands, enhancing the family-friendly experience.
Running since 1971, the four-day festival offers free admission and a packed schedule of entertainment, contests, food, and fireworks. Highlights include live music on the OhioHealth-sponsored main stage, with performances by Dan Orr on Thursday, May 29, at 7:30 PM, Don Sutherland Experience on Friday, May 30, at 4:00 PM, Dan Sultherland Experience, Jacob Brown, and Mother Hubbard and a fireworks display will light up the sky on Friday at 10:00 PM, with a rain date on Saturday. Saturday, 5:30 pm Matt Vanfossen, Lee Gant, and Julia Neville.
The Festival Royalty Pageant begins with preliminary judging on May 27, culminating on May 28, followed by a parade and main stage appearances by visiting queens on Saturday. Saturday also hosts the Patriotic Baby Contest at 10:00 AM and KidsFest from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, featuring a bounce house, face painting, a water table, balloon twister, and appearances by OSU legends Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones. Kids can also participate in the Buckeye State Pedal Tractor Pull at 11:30 AM.
Food lovers can enjoy the Hot Dog Eating Contest on Friday at 5:00 PM, alongside daily offerings from food trucks, vendors, and the Fish Fry at the shelter house, benefiting the festival and Heber Lodge. The Beer Garden opens nightly from Thursday, and BINGO for ages 16+ starts Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the Big Tent.
