
BUCKEYE LAKE, Ohio (July 12, 2025) — The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a suspect following a deadly shooting late Friday night at Louie’s Corner House in Buckeye Lake.
Deputies responded to the bar, located at 11174 Hebron Road, shortly before midnight on July 11, after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they discovered a deceased male victim with an apparent gunshot wound.
Detectives were called to the scene and worked through the night, interviewing witnesses and processing evidence. As a result of their investigation, authorities have identified 59-year-old Richard Lindgren as the primary suspect in the shooting.
Lindgren is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving a cream-colored 2011 Buick Lucerne with Ohio license plate HRT6785.
The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to avoid approaching Lindgren and to immediately report any sightings or information about his whereabouts by calling (740) 670-5500.
