COLUMBUS, Ohio — Spring cleaning season is officially arriving on the city’s south side. Rainbow Venues & Concessions, LLC has announced that the South Drive-In Flea Market, located at 3050 South High Street, will kick off its 2026 season on the weekend of Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8.
The market will operate every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., weather permitting, through at least November 22.
2026 Admission and Pricing
Admission fees for buyers vary based on the day of the week and parking preference:
- Saturday & Sunday: $3 per car for those using the back lot, or $2 per person for those parking out front and walking in.
- Wednesday: $2 per car or $1 per person for walk-ins.
For vendors looking to sell, daily rates are influenced by the possession of a market ID card:
- Weekend Seller Fees: $11 with an ID card; $14 without an ID card.
- Wednesday Seller Fees: $5 with an ID card; $8 without an ID card.
- Reduced Rate: Vendors arriving after 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays or Sundays can secure a spot for $8.
Holiday and Special Markets
In addition to the standard weekly schedule, the South Drive-In has confirmed special Monday markets for two major holidays this year: Memorial Day (May 25) and Labor Day (September 7), contingent on weather conditions.
Vendor Licensing and Savings
Market officials are encouraging sellers to obtain a market ID card via their website to save both money on setup and time during check-in. While a state vendor’s license is not required to apply for the market ID, it is strongly recommended.
A one-time $25 fee to the State of Ohio for a transient vendor’s license allows sellers to operate legally anywhere in Ohio and purchase merchandise for resale without paying the 7.5% sales tax. Existing market ID cards from previous years remain valid.
