COLUMBUS, OH — May 14, 2025 — Coca-Cola Consolidated officially unveiled its new $90 million, state-of-the-art campus in Columbus this week, marking a major milestone in the company’s continued expansion across Ohio. Located at the Rickenbacker Industrial Center on Rohr Road, the 60-acre site is now home to a 400,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse facility, along with two 15,000-square-foot buildings dedicated to equipment repair and fleet maintenance.
This significant investment aims to enhance service to Coca-Cola customers throughout Ohio and neighboring states, while also boosting local economic development and employment. The new facilities feature cutting-edge technology, sustainability measures, and a designated experiential learning center to support workforce development and operational efficiency.
“The investment we’ve made here in Columbus is evidence of our focus on growth in Columbus,” said Sam Meiner, Vice President of Coca-Cola Consolidated’s Mid-West Market Unit. “This commitment to our teammates and production capabilities is a long-term dedication to improving how we serve the world’s best brands and flavors to our communities and the people of Ohio.”
The facility is expected to handle over 16 million cases of product annually, averaging about 75,000 cases daily. Coca-Cola Consolidated is using its innovative Vertique system—a semi-automated technology designed to improve warehouse productivity, accuracy, and workplace safety.
