
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — As the school year ends, families in Circleville can look forward to summer fun with the opening of splash pads at Mary Virginia Crites Hanna Park and Ted Lewis Park on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025. Both splash pads will operate daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM through Labor Day weekend, providing free, accessible entertainment for children.

Ted Lewis Park enhances the experience with additional amenities, including shelters for picnicking, a full playground, a rope swing, and a climbing set with slides. The splash pad at Ted Lewis is designed to be handicap-accessible, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors. Meanwhile, Mary Virginia Crites Hanna Park features specialty equipment swings and a boundless playground tailored for children with diverse physical, developmental, cognitive, and sensory abilities. The park also offers a walking and biking trail, a dog park, and wetlands ideal for bird watching.

Both parks are open to the public during daylight hours, offering a variety of recreational opportunities for families to enjoy throughout the summer.
