Local Business Insights

Window creators at Great American Jewelry praised the collaborative effort behind their winning display. “That’s awesome. Oh, yeah, he’s a good artist. He did a dragon that’s in the store,” one creator, Carol Dart, said about her husband John. “I just came up with the general decor idea, and we kept the cutouts for the Pumpkin Show and added the other stuff.” Owner Shane Thompson added that the Darts, who help with the display, do “a great job showcasing the window every year for the Pumpkin Show. I’m really happy to have them.” American Jewlery is a must stop for Pumpkin glass and fine jewery.

At Ink My Logo, owner and CEO Jennifer Tomlinson highlighted the work of local artist Madeline Karshner, who has contributed to the store’s painted window for several years. “She used to work for me and went to high school with my daughter. She comes in every year and paints for us. Last year she had a baby, so we had to use someone else,” Tomlinson said. “This is probably the third or fourth year she’s painted for us, and she won Best Painted this year. I gave her the theme and let her do her thing, and she always comes up with something fantastic.” Stop by Ink My Logo for exclusive Pumpkin show designs in kids to adult sizes. Its a must stop for fairgoers.

Tomlinson also noted that Ink My Logo is carrying exclusive Pumpkin Show merchandise this year, ranging from infant sizes to 4X, adding a special touch to the festivities.

The contest is part of the Pumpkin Show’s long-standing tradition of encouraging local creativity and community engagement, transforming Main Street into a vibrant gallery of festive designs each fall.
