
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to 38 calls for service on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, ranging from extra patrols and juvenile complaints to reports of theft, well-being checks, and medical emergencies.
Officers conducted multiple extra patrols in neighborhoods including Cottage Hill Lane, East Circle Lane, South Court Street, John Street, and East Mound Street, with all checks reported as “okay.”
A disturbance was reported in the early morning hours on South Court Street, but no report was taken. Later in the day, officers responded to a well-being check involving suicide threats on Northridge Road, where a report was filed.
Other notable incidents included:
- A violation of a protection order reported on Nicholas Drive and later in the day on East Franklin Street, with reports taken in both cases.
- A juvenile complaint on Logan Street and several others on South Court Street throughout the day.
- A 911 hang-up and traffic offense on East Main Street that resulted in a report being filed.
- A theft reported along U.S. Route 23 Tuesday night.
- Two medical emergency alarms—one on South Pickaway Street and another on Montclair Avenue—both resulting in patients being transported to the hospital.
Several civil papers served on East Franklin and South Washington streets were marked “gone on arrival,” and officers also assisted other agencies with an animal call on Lincoln Avenue and a disabled vehicle on State Route 762.
Throughout the day, Circleville Police issued warnings during traffic stops and handled a handful of parking complaints and lockout calls.
No major injuries or arrests were reported in Tuesday’s log.
