Circleville Police Respond to Thefts, Domestic Incidents, and Runaway Report

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville Police handled a wide range of calls on March 23, 2026, including thefts, domestic incidents, a reported runaway, and multiple traffic stops.

Officers responded to a theft report on South Scioto Street early in the morning, followed by another theft-related call later in the day on Barry Drive. Authorities also investigated a fraud complaint on Habberton Road and a separate fraud-related call along U.S. Route 23.

Domestic-related incidents kept officers busy throughout the day. Police took a report of neighbor trouble on South Washington Street and later responded to a domestic disturbance on South Court Street. Another call on South Washington Street involved threats and harassment, with a report taken.

In the afternoon, officers were called to Timberline Drive for a reported dog bite, and later in the evening, police took a report of a runaway juvenile on Barry Drive.

Emergency crews were also dispatched to Ray Avenue for an alarm drop, where a patient was transported to the hospital. Additional calls included a well-being check on Town Street, a vehicle repossession on Plaza Drive, and a traffic jam on North Court Street.

Traffic enforcement remained active throughout the day, with citations issued during stops on South Court Street and Lancaster Pike. Police also received a report of a possible drunk driver on U.S. Route 23 overnight, though the vehicle was not located.

Officers conducted numerous extra patrols across the city, all of which were reported as checked and secure. Several calls, including suspicious circumstances and 911 hang-ups, were investigated but did not result in formal reports.

In total, Circleville Police responded to 34 calls for service throughout the day.
