Circleville Police Respond to Thefts, Domestic Incidents, and Injury Crashes on November 5

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville Police handled a variety of calls Wednesday, Nov. 5, including reports of theft, fraud, domestic trouble, and two injury accidents.

Officers took reports after responding to a theft on East Main Street, a fraud case on Pontious Lane, and a violation of a protection order on Nicholas Drive. Police were also called to East Main Street and Watt Street for separate domestic incidents, both of which resulted in reports being filed.

A pair of injury crashes were reported — one on Lancaster Pike that required a squad transport to the hospital, and another later in the evening on Lancaster Pike where a citation was issued.

Police also responded to multiple calls for extra patrols throughout the city, including on North Court Street, West Main Street, and South Pickaway Street, as well as mutual aid assistance for a fire on Maple Street.

Other notable calls included a juvenile complaint on West High Street, a well-being check at Roundtown Square, and a railroad complaint on Clinton Street.

In total, Circleville officers responded to 32 calls for service throughout the day.
