
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – July 24, 2025
Circleville Police had a busy day on July 23, responding to a wide range of calls across the city, including extra patrols, property damage, thefts, and a hit-skip crash.
Officers conducted multiple extra patrols throughout the early morning hours in areas including Beaver Alley, North Court Street, U.S. Route 23, West Main Street, and West Franklin Street, all of which were found to be secure.
A traffic stop on North Pickaway Street resulted in a warning, while a property damage report was taken on Renick Avenue shortly before 3:00 a.m. Police also responded to a well-being check on Logan Street, where an individual was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Later in the morning, officers took reports of theft on U.S. 23 South, a traffic offense on Lancaster Pike, and addressed miscellaneous and parking complaints on Pleasant Street and South Pickaway Street.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., a suspicious person on East Mound Street led to an arrest, one of the day’s more significant outcomes. Another suspicious person call on South Washington Street earlier in the day resulted in no contact being made.
Circleville officers also responded to a non-injury hit-skip accident on Maize Court and multiple incidents involving civil process service. Several attempts to serve paperwork throughout the evening were unsuccessful, though officers did manage to deliver documents on South Street, West Main Street, and South Washington Street.
Police also investigated found property on multiple streets, handled neighbor trouble on Sunnyview Drive, and responded to suspicious person reports, traffic stops, and a commercial alarm drop on West Mound Street just before 11 p.m.
In total, Circleville Police documented 52 calls for service on July 23, covering a wide range of public safety issues throughout the city.
