CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department had a busy Tuesday, November 4, responding to 35 calls for service ranging from injury accidents and thefts to domestic disputes and fraud reports, according to the department’s daily log.

Officers were dispatched shortly after midnight for multiple extra patrols across the city, all of which were found to be in order. The first major call of the day came at 12:31 a.m. on East Main Street, where an injury crash resulted in a citation being issued. Another injury accident later that morning on Lancaster Pike required a squad to transport at least one individual to the hospital.

Throughout the day, Circleville Police handled several other traffic-related calls, including a non-injury crash on South Washington Street and another on West Main Street, both resulting in citations.

Officers also investigated a fraud report on West Main Street, a theft on South Scioto Street, and another theft on U.S. 23, each resulting in reports being filed.

Later in the evening, police responded to a domestic disturbance on East Main Street, another on North Court Street, and a third on Town Street, all of which resulted in formal reports. A separate assault on South Scioto Street was also documented.

Other notable incidents included juvenile complaints, well-being checks, and a traffic stop on South Washington Street that led to an arrest. The Circleville Fire Department also assisted with two fire-related calls on U.S. 23 and North Pickaway Street, both cleared without major issues.

No major injuries or ongoing threats to public safety were reported.
