Police activity during the two-day period included a wide range of incidents, from routine patrol checks and alarms to more serious calls involving accidents, theft, warrants, and domestic-related complaints.

Officers conducted numerous extra patrols throughout neighborhoods including Edgewood Drive, Clark Drive, Court Street, and High Street, with most checks reported as “checked okay.” Several alarm drops at both residential and commercial locations were also investigated and cleared without incident.

More serious calls included:

  • A stolen vehicle report taken on South Scioto Street.
  • Multiple traffic-related incidents, including a hit-skip crash on Barnes Avenue and an injury accident on Ruth Avenue.
  • Domestic trouble calls on Pontious Lane and East Franklin Street, with at least one resulting in a formal report.
  • Several warrant-related calls, some of which resulted in suspects being gone on arrival.
  • A theft report taken on West Mound Street.
  • Reports of threats and harassment at multiple locations across the city.

Officers also responded to welfare checks, juvenile complaints, suspicious vehicles, parking complaints, and accidental 911 calls. In addition, Circleville police assisted or coordinated with other agencies on animal calls, fire and EMS responses, and mutual aid requests.

The Circleville Police Department reminds residents to report suspicious activity and emergencies promptly and thanks the community for its cooperation during a busy period of winter-related calls and routine enforcement.
