
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department handled a busy day of calls on Thursday, October 30, 2025, responding to more than 40 incidents ranging from routine patrols to reports of burglary and harassment.
According to the department’s daily media log, officers conducted numerous extra patrols throughout the city, including along Edgewood Drive, North and South Court Streets, and Main Street. All patrol checks were reported as “checked okay.”
Among the more serious incidents, officers were dispatched to Lancaster Pike around 9:35 p.m. for a reported burglary in progress. A report was taken, and the investigation remains active. Earlier in the evening, at approximately 7:41 p.m., officers also responded to East Franklin Street for a threats and harassment complaint, which likewise resulted in a report being filed.
Other notable calls included:
- Suspicious circumstances on East Main Street at 4:53 a.m. (officers were unable to locate the subject),
- A disabled vehicle and railroad complaint on North Western Avenue at 6:18 a.m.,
- Several civil process services across the city, some of which were completed while others were marked “gone on arrival,”
- A well-being check on Eva Drive that checked okay, and another on Dunkel Road later that evening where no one was located,
- A littering complaint on East Main Street and multiple parking complaints through the day.
Officers also issued at least one citation during a traffic stop on East Ohio Street at 10:55 p.m.

The Circleville Police Department continues to maintain regular patrols across the community to ensure safety and respond quickly to developing situations.
