Circleville Police Respond to Burglary, Domestic Disputes, and Numerous Patrol Checks on October 20

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 21, 2025) — Circleville Police officers handled more than 40 incidents across the city on Monday, October 20, according to the department’s daily call-for-service log. The day included multiple reports of found property, a burglary, domestic trouble, and several alarm drops, along with numerous extra patrols and routine checks.

Police were active in the early morning hours, conducting extra patrols across several neighborhoods including John Street, South Court Street, East Circle Lane, Clinton Street, Edgewood Avenue, North Court Street, and Clark Drive. All locations were reported as “checked okay.”

Around 10:55 a.m., officers responded to East Franklin Street for a report of found property, followed by an assault complaint on Gumm Place just after 11 a.m. No report was taken in that case. Fire department personnel were called to Shagbark Street around the same time for a complaint that was cleared without issue.

By midday, police had taken reports for burglary on South Pickaway Street, found property on West Mound Street, and a juvenile complaint on North Pickaway Street. A repossession on Lancaster Pike and a probation complaint on East Union Street were also documented.

In the afternoon, officers handled multiple civil problems, a parking complaint, and a traffic stop on Pinckney Street that resulted in a warning. A report was also taken for domestic trouble on East Mill Street around 3:42 p.m.

Later calls included threats and harassment complaints on East Union Street and South Pickaway Street, a non-injury crash on South Pickaway Street, and another juvenile complaint on South Court Street, where officers were unable to locate the individuals involved.

Evening incidents featured a fight reported on Renick Avenue, a well-being check on South Scioto Street, and a domestic dispute on Abernathy Avenue, followed by a noise complaint on Barry Drive, both of which were resolved without further action.

Emergency medical crews also responded to an alarm drop on Evergreen Avenue around 9:59 p.m., where one person was transported to a hospital.

In total, Circleville Police recorded 41 calls for service throughout the day, with most incidents resolved safely or reported for further investigation.
