
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Officers with the Circleville Police Department handled more than 30 calls for service on March 31, including a reported break-in, an arrest involving a suspicious person, and a domestic incident involving a firearm.
Police made an arrest early Tuesday morning on North Court Street after responding to a report of a suspicious person around 6:30 a.m. Details about the arrest have not been released.
Later in the morning, officers were dispatched to Logan Street for a reported breaking and entering incident. A report was taken, and the case remains under investigation.
One of the more serious calls of the day occurred shortly before 3 p.m. on North Pickaway Street, where officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a person reportedly armed with a gun. Police took a report, but no additional information has been released.
Officers also responded to a reported theft during the afternoon hours, though the location was not specified in the report.
Throughout the day, police conducted multiple well-being checks across the city, with most individuals found safe. However, in several cases, officers were unable to locate the individuals involved.
Additional calls included a trespassing complaint on Nicholas Court late Tuesday night, as well as a disturbance on East Main Street and an animal-related call on Dunkel Road.
Police also handled routine incidents such as parking complaints, traffic enforcement, alarm drops, and accidental 911 calls. Numerous extra patrols were conducted overnight, all of which were cleared without issue.
In total, officers responded to 32 incidents throughout the day. Several cases remain under investigation.
