CIRCLEVILLE – The Circleville Police Department released its daily call report for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, detailing 43 incidents handled by officers throughout the city.

Officers responded to a variety of calls, including multiple extra patrols overnight in neighborhoods such as Hillcrest Drive, Atwater Avenue, and North Court Street, all of which checked okay.

A vandalism report was taken on Faye Avenue early Wednesday morning, while later in the day, police investigated several domestic disturbance calls on Dunmore Road, East Main Street, and Town Street — all resulting in official reports.

Traffic-related calls included two non-injury accidents: one on East Franklin Street where a citation was issued, and a hit-skip crash on South Pickaway Street that led to a report. Officers also conducted several warrant operations throughout the morning, resulting in arrests on Renick Avenue and Turner Drive.

In the evening, an assault was reported on U.S. Route 23 South, with officers taking a report on the incident. Several property damage and suspicious person calls were also logged but found to be non-criminal.

Overall, Circleville Police remained busy throughout the day with a mix of routine patrols, criminal investigations, and community safety checks.
