CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Circleville Police officers were kept busy Tuesday, September 16, responding to 55 calls for service across the city.
The day began with a series of overnight extra patrols, well-being checks, and parking complaints, most of which were cleared without issue. The first major call came just after 5 a.m. when officers were dispatched to U.S. 23 for a reported theft.
Throughout the morning, officers investigated harassment complaints on Lewis Avenue and East Franklin Street, as well as a stolen vehicle report from East Union Street. A homeless person was also reported on West Main Street, leading to a filed report.
Afternoon calls included a disturbance on Lancaster Pike that was turned over to another agency, along with additional theft, fraud, and property damage complaints. A fire call on Ludwig-Dresback Road required mutual aid from Circleville Fire.
By evening, officers handled another fraud case on Elm Avenue, multiple juvenile complaints, and a domestic dispute on Lincoln Avenue. Several 911 hang-ups, alarm drops, and well-being checks also added to the call load.
In total, Circleville Police documented reports of theft, fraud, harassment, property damage, and domestic incidents while also providing extra patrols and community assistance throughout the day.
