
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department released its daily call log for Monday, October 27, 2025, showing a busy day for officers who handled 46 incidents ranging from traffic stops and domestic disputes to multiple vehicle accidents and thefts.
The first call of the day came just after midnight for an extra patrol on North Court Street, followed minutes later by a domestic disturbance on Gumm Place that was checked and found to be okay. A short time later, officers responded to a burglary in progress on North Court Street, where a report was taken.
Around 3:15 a.m., officers were called to Lancaster Pike for a report of an intoxicated person. Later that morning, police responded to several traffic incidents, including a non-injury crash on North Court Street and an injury crash on East Main Street. Another property damage report was taken on U.S. Route 23.

At midmorning, officers investigated a theft on Joy Court and served several civil process papers across town. Later in the day, multiple miscellaneous complaints were logged on South Court Street, while police handled juvenile and domestic trouble calls on West Water Street.
Additional reports included vandalism on East Franklin Street, a theft on U.S. 23, and a violation of a protection order on Nicholas Drive. Fire and EMS crews also responded to Tarlton Road for a fire incident that required a patient transport to the hospital.
The day concluded with a domestic dispute on Kingston Court just before midnight, followed by a call to Sunnyview Drive for a possible gas or electrical issue, which checked okay.
Circleville Police noted that several incidents, including well-being checks and extra patrols, were cleared without further issue, while investigations into the burglary, thefts, and crashes remain ongoing.
