Circleville Police Respond to 40 Incidents on September 3

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (Sept. 4, 2025) – The Circleville Police Department responded to a total of 40 calls for service on Wednesday, September 3, according to the department’s daily media log.

The reports ranged from extra patrols and traffic stops to more serious matters including property damage, forgery, and domestic trouble.

Among the notable calls:

  • Domestic Trouble – Officers responded to a report on Watt Street around 5:12 p.m., but the individuals involved were gone before police arrived.
  • Property Damage – A case was reported on Beaver Alley at 7:25 a.m. A report was taken.
  • Forgery – A bad check/forgery case was reported on East Main Street at 9:23 a.m.
  • Accident – A non-injury crash occurred on North Pickaway Street around 10:19 a.m. A citation was issued.
  • Trespassing – A report of trespassing was filed on Lancaster Pike at 5:46 p.m.
  • 911 Calls – Multiple 911 hang-ups were reported throughout the day, including incidents on East Mound Street, South Court Street, Atwater Avenue, and West Huston Street. All were checked and cleared with no emergencies found.
  • Carbon Monoxide/Natural Gas Concern – At 11:09 p.m., officers responded to West Huston Street for a reported gas or carbon monoxide issue. The call was cleared without further incident.

Police also logged numerous extra patrols, well-being checks, and traffic stops, several of which resulted in citations or warnings. Officers additionally documented encounters with homeless individuals, unruly juveniles, and found property cases.
