The Memorial Day weekend saw a wide range of activities in Pickaway County, including thefts, domestic disturbances, traffic stops, and community checks.
The period began with multiple extra patrols on May 22, all checking okay across locations like N Court St, Eva Dr, and Logan St. A stolen vehicle report was logged at 3:49 AM on Atwater Ave, with information obtained (05/22/25). At 6:40 AM on US 23, a drunk driver incident was handed over to another agency, and a theft was reported on S Court St at 7:52 AM. Breaking and entering incidents were reported on Logan St at 9:19 AM and E Main St on May 23 at 4:53 PM, both under investigation.

Notable incidents included a structural fire on Edgewood Dr on May 23 at 7:38 AM, which was contained, and an injury accident on Lancaster Pike at 6:56 PM on May 22, where a squad transported an individual to the hospital. Domestic troubles were reported multiple times, including on E Franklin St on May 22 at 4:47 PM and 5:38 PM, and on US 23 on May 25 at 3:13 PM, where an arrest was made. Thefts continued to be a concern, with reports on US 23 on May 23 at 10:22 AM and 2:02 PM, and a fraud case on N Court St at 3:34 PM.
Traffic stops resulted in warnings on S Pickaway St, W Main St, and Lancaster Pike, but an arrest was made on S Scioto St on May 26 at 7:32 PM. Community welfare checks were frequent, with several well-being checks concluding as gone on arrival or checked okay, alongside assistance for homeless individuals on E Main St and N Scioto St. A burglary on Abernathy Ave on May 26 at 1:49 PM and a violation of a protection order on Sycamore Dr on May 25 at 12:23 PM were also reported.
