CIRCLEVILLE, OH – The Circleville Police Department released its media call-for-service (CFS) report for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, detailing a busy 24-hour period with 41 incidents. The report, printed on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 07:59 AM EDT, highlights a range of activities from traffic stops to serious crimes.

The night began with an unruly juvenile report taken at 00:06 on S Pickaway St and a trespassing incident at 00:55 on McCulloch Ave, both resulting in reports. A violation of a protection order was reported at 01:23 on Logan St, followed by a theft in progress at 01:46 on Second Ave, though no report was taken for the latter. Early morning traffic stops on E Mill St and S Court St at 02:00 and 02:42, respectively, led to warnings issued.

Extra patrols were conducted across multiple locations, including Logan St, E Main St, and US 23, all checked okay. A well-being check on US 23 at 02:15 and a warrant attempt on Sumpter Ave at 13:23 were unsuccessful, with subjects gone on arrival (GOA) or unable to locate (UATL). A burglary report was taken at 03:46 on N Court St, and a stolen vehicle was reported at 06:24 on Lone Pine Rd.

Midday saw traffic stops on W Main St at 11:21, with warnings issued, while a vandalism incident on E High St at 11:23 had no report taken. A warrant arrest was made at 14:13 on E Franklin St, marking a successful enforcement action.

Other notable incidents included a found property report at 17:10 on Fairview Blvd and a littering report at 21:02 on N Court St.Several calls, including a drunk individual on E Ohio St at 23:09 and multiple UATL cases, remained unresolved.

The department’s efforts also included civil matters, such as a trespassing case on Gumm Pl at 15:42, handled as a civil issue.
