Officers conducted numerous extra patrols throughout the early morning hours, including along North Court Street, Edgewood Drive, and East Mound Street. A suspicious vehicle was reported on North Court Street around 1 a.m., but no report was taken.

At 7:19 a.m., police responded to a reported theft on South Court Street, followed by a non-injury crash on Watt Street and a domestic trouble call on South Court Street shortly after 8 a.m. Officers also handled a neighbor dispute in the same area later that morning.

A hit-skip accident was reported on West Main Street around 5 p.m., and a non-injury crash on U.S. 23 was turned over to another agency. Officers also issued several traffic warnings, handled two found property calls, and investigated a domestic disturbance on Sherwood Drive just before midnight.

Animal calls, alarm drops, and parking complaints were also addressed throughout the day, with one citation issued on Sunset Drive for a parking violation.

No major injuries were reported during Thursday’s incidents. The Circleville Police Department continues to encourage residents to report suspicious activity and remain aware of their surroundings.
